INGREDIENTS

  • 2 tbsp SIMPLi Regenerative Organic Certified® Chia Seeds

  • 1 cup frozen mixed berries (such as blueberries, strawberries, raspberries)

  • 1 ripe banana

  • A handful of fresh spinach (about 1 cup)

  • 1/2 cup unsweetened almond milk or any other plant-based milk

TOPPINGS

  • 1 banana, sliced

  • 1 kiwi, peeled and sliced

  • 1/4 cup chopped walnuts

  • 1/4 cup granola

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Prepare the Base: In a blender, combine the frozen berries, 1 banana, and spinach. Pour in the almond milk to facilitate blending.

  2. Blend Until Smooth: Blend the ingredients on high until the mixture is smooth. The consistency should be thick enough to be eaten with a spoon. Adjust by adding a little more frozen fruit or ice to thicken, or a splash more almond milk to thin it slightly, depending on your preference.

  3. Add Chia Seeds: Add the chia seeds to the blender and pulse a few times to mix them into the smoothie without breaking them down completely.

  4. Serve: Divide the smoothie mixture evenly between two bowls.

  5. Garnish: Top each bowl with additional banana slices, kiwi slices, chopped walnuts, and a sprinkle of granola for crunch.

  6. Enjoy Immediately: Best enjoyed fresh, but if needed, cover and refrigerate for up to one day.
